Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy, received today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Nevine Kilani, Minister of Culture, at Al-Azhar pavilion at Cairo International Book Fair.
Al-Azhar pavilion includes a book corner, a fatwa corner, an Arabic calligraphy corner, a seminar headquarters, and a bookstore that includes hundreds of books in various branches of knowledge, dozens of books that are presented for the first time, and other versions translated into more than one language.
The Prime Minister praised Al-Azhar pavilion and its role in spreading enlightened centrist thought. He said: «I was honored today to visit the pavilion of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif at the Cairo International Book Fair, and I pray to God that this ancient institution continues its success in spreading enlightened Islam throughout the world».
Al-Azhar publications deal with the most prominent contemporary intellectual issues that occupy researchers and students of science, and confront misconceptions, as Al-Azhar scholars and preachers answer questions from the public and religious issues, and cultural seminars are held at the Al-Azhar pavilion at the Book Fair.
