During a joint press conference on the sidelines of the tripartite summit, President Sisi welcomed holding a business forum, which aims to discuss opportunities to enhance mutual investments and trade among the three countries, noting that the energy file was strongly present in the talks today, as "we agreed on the necessity of developing joint projects in the fields of renewable energy, Electrical interconnection, natural gas transportation, and strengthening the infrastructure for electrical interconnection among the three countries".
