President Sisi receives Saudi FM

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Dr. Badr Abdel-Atty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan, Advisor to the Minister for Political Affairs, and Ambassador Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Cairo. 

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, said that President Sisi welcomed the Saudi Foreign Minister and asked him to convey his greetings to his brother, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. 

He praised the wise Saudi leadership's efforts in achieving development and prosperity in the Kingdom, affirming Egypt's keenness to strengthen cooperation with Saudi Arabia in various fields.

 The president also welcomed the ongoing efforts to arrange the first meeting of the Egyptian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council.

President Sisi also stressed the importance of intensifying Egyptian-Saudi coordination on various issues of common interest and the ongoing crises in the region.

For his part, Prince Faisal bin Farhan conveyed the greetings and appreciation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to President Sisi, affirming Saudi Arabia's keenness to strengthen the deep-rooted relations with Egypt and intensify political consultations between the two brotherly countries.
