President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Tuesday a phone call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic said.
The call focused on the shooting incident that took place on the Egyptian-Israeli border on Saturday, June 3, 2023, which left a number of border security personnel killed.
President Sisi and the Israeli Prime Minister stressed the importance of full coordination to uncover all the circumstances of the incident.
The two sides also stressed the importance to continue work and coordination in the context of the bilateral relations to achieve a just and comprehensive peace and maintain stability in the region
