On Saturday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with a bipartisan delegation from the United States Congress, led by Representative Tom Cole, Chairman of the Appropriations Committee. The meeting was also attended by Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdel Atty.
According to a statement from the Presidential Spokesperson, the discussions focused on regional developments, with the US delegation seeking President Sisi’s insights on ways to restore peace and stability in the Middle East and prevent the escalation of conflicts into a broader regional war.
