President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will receive French President Emmanuel Macron today at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, as part of the French president's high-level official visit to Egypt.
The two presidents are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting, followed by expanded talks between the two countries' delegations.
Several agreements and memoranda of understanding will then be signed, followed by a joint press conference between Presidents El-Sisi and Macron.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, said that following the Egyptian-French summit, a tripartite Egyptian-Jordanian-French summit will be held, with the participation of President El-Sisi, Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The summit aims to discuss regional developments, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
