President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of Jordan, on the sidelines of the International Conference for Emergency Humanitarian Response in Gaza in the Kingdom of Jordan.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic revealed that the two leaders affirmed the strength and depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly countries, and expressed appreciation for the consensus and continuous coordination witnessed in bilateral relations between the leaderships of the two countries regarding regional and international issues.
The two leaders agreed on the importance of continuing coordination and consultation regarding developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip, which was embodied in the joint call to hold an emergency humanitarian response conference in Gaza.
They also stressed their rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinians outside their lands.
President Sisi and Jordanian king called for united international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution.
