President Sisi: Egyptian people welcome Qatari business community in Egypt as partners in the path of development and prosperity

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met in the Qatari capital, Doha, with representatives of the Qatari business community, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Finance of Qatar, Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality of Qatar, and Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Qatar.

They discussed Ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation. President Sisi emphasized that the Egyptian economy has gone through difficult times in recent years, but the state has taken the necessary reform measures, and that there is no longer a problem in transferring hard currency revenues outside Egypt for any investor. He added that the relevant state agencies are seeking to reduce the procedures related to issuing licenses for investors and are working to implement the concept of a one-stop shop and the golden license.

President El-Sisi explained that aiming to increase the number of tourists Egypt receives annually from 16 to 30 million is a goal that must be achieved, thanks to Egypt's significant tourism potential.

President El-Sisi noted that Egyptian-Qatari economic relations have witnessed a qualitative leap in recent years, sending a message to the Qatari business community that the Egyptian people welcome them in Egypt as partners in the path of development and prosperity.
