President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi addressed the Egyptian-European Summit saying: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome you today on your important visit to Egypt, which reflects the depth of Egyptian-European relations extending throughout history, and also reflects the momentum witnessed by relations during the recent period at the various political, economic, and cultural levels on the basis of mutual respect and common interests."
President Sisi added: “Egypt has always attached special importance to the distinguished relations it has with the European Union and its countries, in light of our firm belief in the centrality of the partnership with the European Union to achieve the common political, economic, and security interests of both sides, and to achieve security, peace, and stability in the region.”
