President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his Angolan counterpart, Joao Lourenco, witnessed on Wednesday signing a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will hold today, Wednesday, a closed session with the President of Angola, Joao Lourenco, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said.
The two Presidents will address issues of common interest between the two countries, building strong relations and existing areas of cooperation, and developing cooperation in all fields, especially developmental ones related to construction, energy and infrastructure.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic added that the state of Angola is witnessing economic growth and is looking forward to cooperation with brotherly countries, including Egypt.
The official spokesman indicated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is the first Egyptian president to visit Angola, and then he will participate in the COMESA Summit in Zambia and will visit Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. this is considered an extension of the Egyptian role in Africa, which witnessed clear and tangible activity at the level of the entire continent during the past years.
