President El-Sisi: Suez Canal has Team Management with Experience for  150 Years

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that all greetings, respect, and cherishing should be paid for the staff of the Authority of the Suez Canal for their efforts without losses or causalities in handling the crisis of the delinquent ship or the stranded ships in either the southern or northern mouth of the  Suez Canal or lakes.

President El-Sisi added during, an international press conference, that he thanks the staff that handled the crisis of the delinquent ship effectively from the head of the authority to the minor worker.

He thanked in his name and on behalf of all Egyptians the staff of the Canal.

He went on to say that we have team management with experience dated back to 150 years in directing the Canal, building ships, and the world trade in addition to Egypt's crises of 1956 and 1967.

But throughout the years the Suez Canal did a magnificent and great role in conveying world trade.

President El-Sisi affirmed that he has completely followed the delinquent ship in the Suez Canal.

He said that he followed the issue with General Osama Rab'bea, Head of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) over strange times.

"There was a contact with General Rab'bea at 4 a.m. and I was assured that all matters will pass peacefully", the president said.

He added during inspecting the Training Marine Center affiliated with the SCA   in Ismailia Governorate, that the crisis of the delinquent ship proved an unwanted matter but the fate has its calculations.

The president affirmed that he consulted, indicated the major role of the Suez Canal as a reality for 150 years.

He continued to say that the Canal becomes a facility for world trade as 13% of the volume of world trade passes in the Canal.

He stressed that the Canal is capable, withstanding, and competitive.
