President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi officially launched the Arab Military Equestrian Championship at the opening ceremony held at the Olympic City in Egypt's administrative capital. In his welcoming address, he expressed his best wishes to all participants and declared the commencement of the competition.
Scheduled from April 24 to April 27, the event is hosted at the Equestrian Club located within the Olympic City. The championship has drawn participation from eleven Arab countries, including Egypt, Libya, Qatar, Algeria, Kuwait, Tunisia, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.
The championship is part of the Egyptian Armed Forces' efforts to strengthen military and cultural ties among Arab countries through sports, facilitating the exchange of expertise and fostering cooperation among Arab armies. It also emphasizes the Egyptian Armed Forces' commitment to promoting equestrian sports, leveraging Egypt’s advanced infrastructural capabilities and high standards of veterinary care in line with global benchmarks.
