A few minutes ago, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi participated in "Tahya Misr Wa Falasteen" (Long Live Egypt and Palestine) at the Cairo International Stadium with a great attendance of citizens.

President El Sisi asserted during his speech that Egypt hadn't closed the Rafah Border Crossing since the beginning of the October 7 events or before them, adding that more than 500 trucks used to cross daily from the Egyptian side to Gaza.

He highlighted that Egypt wouldn't hesitate to assist Gaza, especially in those tragic events, questioning the attitude of various media outlets that attempted to insult the role of Egypt.

President El Sisi clarified that the activity of the border crossing is also linked to the other side, not Egypt only, in addition, Egypt refused the siege over Gaza, however, it acted like a real state with its authorities, government, and according to the international law rules and manners.

He underscored that the Rafah Border Crossing will remain open for all kinds of aid to Gaza.
