On Wednesday, Pope Tawadros II, the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, greeted President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and all citizens on Monday on the 9th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.

The statement concluded, "May God protect Egypt, its people and leadership, and guided its steps on the path towards the new republic."
