Pope Francis canceled all his engagements, Friday, due to his fever, the Vatican announced.
The Spokesperson of the Vatican Matteo Bruni didn't provide further details on the health of the Roman Catholic Head.
Bruni told reporters about the reason for Pope Francis' cancelation for all scheduled audiences for Friday: "Because of a fever, Pope Francis did not receive (anyone) in audiences this morning."
Last April, Pope Francis was discharged from the hospital to return to the Vatican after being treated for breathing difficulties.
On his way out from the hospital, the pope told reporters: "I wasn’t frightened, I’m still alive."
The pope was taken to Gemelli hospital three days ago after suffering from breathing difficulties.
Moreover, he responded well to an infusion of antibiotics.
Recently, the pope suffered from different medical issues.
