Polish Interior Minister Mariusz Kamiński announced on Sunday, his country's intention to send 500 police officers to its border with Belarus.
"Because of the tense situation on the border with Belarus, I decided to reinforce our forces with 500 Polish police officers from the prevention and counter-terrorism units," Kamiński tweeted.
Furthermore, he added that the new officers will join the five thousand border guards and two thousand soldiers guarding the security of these borders.
