Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said that Polish Armed Forces will buy 1,000 tanks from the United States (US) and South Korea.
In press remarks, Polish Defense Minister said that Poland attaches great importance to arming armored units with tanks.
He added that the main sources of purchase are US and South Korea, explaining that Poland is determined to buy a thousand tanks.
Earlier, Błaszczak said that Warsaw plans to buy 22 AW101 helicopters to replace its stocks of post-Soviet weapons.
