The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Robert Telus, explained during a meeting of the Polish Cabinet in Warsaw that there are currently problems related to the flow of agricultural products from Ukraine, noting that the decision to ban the import of grain was taken to protect Polish farmers and consumers.
The Polish government discussed possible measures to stabilize the agricultural market, as Telus and the Minister of Development and Technology were authorized to issue relevant legislative acts in the field of protecting the Polish agricultural market from destabilization, including imposing a temporary ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.
