The Polish Border Guard Agency announced, on Saturday, that Poland has so far received two million and 437 thousand refugees fleeing from Ukraine, since the start of the Russian military operation, on February 24.
"Yesterday, about 21 thousand refugees entered from the Ukrainian border, compared to 23 thousand refugees the day before yesterday," the agency said.
It is worth mentioning that the Russian-Ukrainian war took place a month ago, with thousands of soldiers from both sides killed and millions displaced from the Ukrainian side since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
Several countries have imposed significant economic sanctions on Moscow in response to its invasion of Ukraine. In turn, Russia has responded by imposing personal sanctions on several American and Canadian leaders, led by US President Joe Biden.
