Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly said that the steps taken by the government and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) are very important for economic reform.
He pointed out that the state has worked to unify the exchange rate to confront the economic crisis.
This came during PM's supervision of goods' release from port of Alexandria, following directives from President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Monday to clear goods at ports.
Moreover, Madbouly said that the Egyptian state has worked on a plane to get out of the crisis, explaining that the state needed to arrange for a large amount of liquidity and unify the exchange rate, especially since any economy in the world cannot work in the presence of two exchange rates.
He added, "The state is working and planning for other major deals in the coming period."
