Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with Dr. Abdullah Al-Dardiri, Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the Regional Office for Arab States at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) during the annual meetings of the African Development Bank.
They discussed the Cooperation Agreement for Sustainable Development signed between Egypt and the UNDP for the period 2023-2027, expressing Egypt's appreciation for the long-standing cooperation between Egypt and the United Nations and its affiliated agencies, and the various development programs and projects implemented over the past decades.
The director of the UNDP Regional Office for Arab States expressed the program's commitment to attracting easy financing for Egypt in the coming period, to support the implementation of various projects, including the "Decent Life" initiative, which he described as having a breakthrough in reaching the most needy groups.
The two sides agreed that the director of the UNDP Regional Office would soon visit Egypt to discuss various areas of cooperation and mechanisms to enhance it.
