Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt, officially inaugurated the 28th Cairo International Telecommunication Expo, Cairo ICT, in the presence of numerous leaders and officials, including Dr. Amro Talaat, the Minister of Communications.
During his visit, Prime Minister Madbouly toured several pavilions, including the Information Technology Institute's booth, affiliated with the Ministry of Communications. He received a comprehensive briefing about the institute's efforts, its cutting-edge specializations, and the targets of its training programs.
The Prime Minister also visited the National Telecommunication Institute's pavilion. He was briefed about the training programs and the modern courses offered to both specialized and non-specialized Egyptian youth interested in entering the field. The institute's laboratories, recognized as a center of expertise by the ministry, were also highlighted.
Additionally, Prime Minister Madbouly inspected the "Digital Generations of Egypt" pavilion, which has trained about 250,000 participants, including primary school students across most of the republic's provinces, known as the Cubs initiative.
He also learned about the Digital Egypt initiative and the process of exporting skills, which aims at employment operations for trainees in collaboration with 25 international entities.
During his tours of the Ministry of Communications' pavilions, the Prime Minister was informed about the "we" initiative for applied technology strategies in various provinces, examples of field training, and student exchange programs with Japan.
