Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Sunday sent a message of congratulations to Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Egyptian diplomats on the occasion of Egyptian Diplomacy Day, marked annually on March 15.
In his message, Madbouly extended his greetings to the foreign minister, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, and all Egyptian diplomats serving at home and abroad.
The prime minister noted that this year’s celebration carries special significance as it coincides with the 200th anniversary of the establishment of Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, describing it as an occasion that reflects the legacy of generations of Egyptians who have defended the nation’s interests and contributed to building the modern Egyptian state.
Madbouly said the history of the foreign ministry is inseparable from the history of Egypt itself, emphasizing that the country’s long-standing diplomatic tradition has played a major role in shaping the nation’s political and international standing.
He further noted that the Egyptian diplomatic school has had a strong influence throughout the country’s history, praising diplomats for their contributions and efforts across various international files and missions.
The prime minister also expressed confidence that members of the foreign ministry will continue their dedicated diplomatic efforts in support of Egypt’s interests and for the advancement of the nation.
