More than a week passed since the beginning of Ramadan and people start searching for new recipes for Sohour instead of the traditional beans, egg and cheese.
Here’s a pizza pie recipe that is prepared in no time
4 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp yeast
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp margarine
½ cup oil
2 cups water
Green pepper slices
In a bowl, add all dry components; flour, sugar, yeast, salt and stir well.
Add the egg, margarine and water then stir till you get a sticky paste.
In an oven tray, cover the bottom and sides with little oil, then pour 2/3 of the paste as a bottom layer.
Add a layer of cottage cheese, olive and green pepper, then pour the rest of the paste on the top and move it gently to cover all ingredients.
As a final step, add mozzarella cheese on top and press slightly.
Preheat oven to 200 degrees and set the tray from 30 to 40 minutes till its surface becomes golden brown.
