Egypt's Parliament Speaker Hanafi Jabali, received, on Sunday, October 24, 2021, Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, who is on an official visit to Egypt. The meeting was attended by the Parliament Deputy Speaker MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein.
At the outset of the meeting, Jabali and his deputy welcomed Rama.
He confirmed Egypt's pride in its relations with the friendly Republic of Albania in light of the solid and extended historical ties and relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Parliament Speaker stressed the need for this visit to be a turning point towards a comprehensive cooperative partnership between the two countries.
He expressed his aspiration to enhance parliamentary cooperation with the Albanian Parliament for the benefit of the friendly Egyptian and Albanian peoples.
On his part, Rama thanked and appreciated Jabali for the warm reception. He confirmed that the relations between the two countries bear common historical features, looking forward to pushing these relations to horizons commensurate with their extended history.
