Palestinian rescue teams recovered the bodies of 19 martyrs from a makeshift mass grave on Al-Thawra Street, west of Gaza City, on Tuesday, according to local reports.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Civil Defense teams in Jenin refugee camp successfully evacuated a young man trapped under rubble in Haret Al-Damj after digging a tunnel to reach him due to the severe destruction blocking roads and entrances in the area. The lack of heavy machinery has complicated rescue operations, the Palestinian Civil Defense stated.
Israeli Forces Raid Villages in Northwest Ramallah
In a separate development, Israeli occupation forces stormed several villages in northwest Ramallah, including Deir Nidham, Ajjul, Umm Safa, and Deir Sudan. No clashes or arrests were reported, according to Palestinian security sources.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian youth, Mahmoud Al-Abbasi, from the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, while he was working in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem.
This escalation comes amid ongoing tensions and increased Israeli military operations in Palestinian territories.
