The Palestinian Red Crescent said on Thursday that 60 percent of the wounded in the Gaza Strip need to be taken out of the Strip to receive treatment abroad immediately.
Palestinian Radio quoted the Red Crescent as saying: “We are on the cusp of a health and environmental catastrophe in the Gaza Strip
The Palestinian medical organization warns that the health sector has completely collapsed and needs to be supported by cadres from outside the Strip.”
It also stated that 280 of its crew members were killed in Gaza, while others were arrested, including the director of the Khan Yunis Ambulance Center, according to what was reported by the Arab World News Agency.
The Palestinian medical service added that the Israeli forces “deliberately arrest and abuse the sick and wounded, including paramedics from our teams.”
It also indicated that there is an urgent need to bring in fuel so that ambulance crews and doctors can move.
