Palestinian Presidency: Israeli Aggression against Palestinian Cities a Declaration of War against our People

On Wednesday, the Palestinian presidency affirmed that the Israeli military siege that began nine days ago on the northern West Bank city of Nablus, the incursions into Palestinian cities, villages, and camps, and the continued storming of Al-Aqsa mosque and Al-Ibrahimi Mosque is a declaration of an all-out war against the Palestinian people and their leadership.

Presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said in a statement today that the continuation of this reckless and irresponsible policy has created an atmosphere of increased tension that would explode the situation.

He said that the Israeli occupation government must realize that this policy will not bring security and stability, but will rather push matters into a dangerous situation, stressing that the Palestinian people will in no way accept the continuation of the occupation.

He said that President Mahmoud Abbas is following closely what is happening in Nablus and other cities and villages and the killing of children, stressing that the president warns everyone of the consequences of this Israeli policy.

He said that the Palestinian cause cannot be bypassed, stressing that there can be no end to tension and current conflicts in the region without reaching a just solution to the Palestinian cause that gains the approval of the Palestinian people and leadership, which remains committed to national constants that were achieved by the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their struggle.
