Palestinian PM thanks Egypt for efforts made to alleviate Palestinian people suffering

During a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouly, The Palestinian Prime Minister indicated that his visit came at the generous invitation of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, noting that it is his second visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. 

Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh emphasized that the relationship between Egypt and Palestine extends throughout history, pointing out in this regard to the first visit that the late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat paid to his late brother, President Gamal Abdel Nasser, and the subsequent exchanges of visits and meetings by various presidents, saying: " Palestine has a place in the heart of every Egyptian, just as Egypt lives in the heart of every Palestinian.

The Palestinian Prime Minister stressed that Egypt is a key partner in the political vision represented in the two-state solution and the preservation of Palestinian legitimacy, in a way that enhances the Palestinian national scene and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.

Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh thanked the Egyptian state for the efforts made to alleviate the suffering of the people of Palestine, expressing his happiness with the documents that were signed today.
