Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa discussed with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos, the latest developments, efforts to end the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, and enhance humanitarian and relief in the war-torn Gaza Strip, Wafa reported.

The meeting, held Monday at the Prime Minister’s Office in Ramallah, was attended by Minister of Local Government Dr. Sami Hajawi and the Head of the Cyprus Representative Office to the State of Palestine, Demetris Assos.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister outlined ongoing relief efforts in Gaza and the Government's plans ready for immediate action once the Israeli aggression ceases. These include humanitarian and relief operations, restoring essential services, unifying institutional efforts, and laying the groundwork for comprehensive reconstruction across Palestinian Territory.

He further highlighted ongoing Government interventions and the institutional reform program under implementation Mustafa reiterated the critical role of the international community in supporting UNRWA, emphasizing that it is irreplaceable and indispensable until the Palestine refugee issue is justly resolved, as it provides essential humanitarian and relief services while complementing the Government’s efforts to address the needs of the Palestinian people.

He called for international pressure on Israel to release withheld Palestinian funds and halt all deductions from clearance revenues. The Prime Minister commended Cyprus' humanitarian and relief support to the Palestinian people in Gaza and expressed gratitude for its recent contribution to constructing a village council building and a health center in Ein Qinya, west of Ramallah, inaugurated earlier today in the presence of the Cypriot Foreign Minister.
