Palestinian MoFA Cautions Against Israeli Restrictions on Humanitarian Groups

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a severe warning regarding the ongoing campaign of restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities against humanitarian organizations. The ministry is calling for an active international intervention to halt these Israeli actions, which severely hinder humanitarian operations in the occupied territories.

In a statement released by the Palestinian News Agency on Saturday evening, the ministry detailed the grave concerns over the Israeli constraints targeting humanitarian organizations. These restrictions pose significant barriers to licensing, operational duties, and the overall ability to deliver necessary aid and relief to millions of Palestinians. Additionally, the Israeli measures aim to reduce these organizations' roles in monitoring and documenting the crimes and violations committed against Palestinian civilians by Israeli settlers and military forces.

This suppression continues alongside Israel's persistent blockade of humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, now in its 15th consecutive day, and the targeted disruption of the work of international organizations, particularly the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry views these arbitrary actions as an extension of Israel's attempt to isolate the Palestinian people and conceal its significant breaches of international law, including violations of the Geneva Conventions and signed agreements. This is part of a broader strategy by Israel to obscure the truth and hide evidence of its wrongdoings.
