The Palestinian Minister of Information, Ahmed Assaf, thanked Egypt for its role in supporting the Palestinian cause, saying: “We extend our sincere thanks to the Egyptian state and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the effort they are making to support the Palestinian cause,” according to the Extra News channel.
The Palestinian Minister of Information added: “The position of Egypt and President Sisi has been clear since the first day of the war on Gaza.”
He continued: "What we see at the New Alamein Festival is an indication of the status of the Palestine issue in the hearts of the Egyptian people, and we thank Egypt and President Sisi for the volume of relief they sent to the Gaza Strip."
He continued: "The Palestinian cause is experiencing difficult circumstances."
