Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned statements made by the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, in which he claimed that Israel has a "biblical right" to control the entire Middle East, citing biblical interpretations.

In a statement issued Saturday evening, the Ministry emphasized that these remarks contradict religious and historical facts, international law, and the previously declared stance of U.S. President Donald Trump, who rejected the annexation of the West Bank.

Moreover, the statement stressed that these "rejected and provocative" remarks represent an explicit call for aggression against the sovereignty of nations.

It further asserted that such rhetoric supports the ongoing occupation, the war of genocide and displacement, and the implementation of annexation and racial expansion plans against the Palestinian people—actions rejected by the entire international community.

The Ministry also reaffirmed that the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, are occupied Palestinian territories according to international law.

Furthermore, The statement called on the U.S. Administration to take a clear and explicit stance regarding its ambassador’s statements, noting that they completely contradict President Trump’s declared positions on achieving peace in the Middle East, ending wars and violence, and refusing the Israeli annexation of the West Bank.

The Ministry added that such rhetoric hinders President Trump’s vision for a lasting peace in the region.
