The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced tonight that it has instructed its permanent delegation to the Arab League to request an emergency meeting of the League's Council at the ministerial level.

The Israeli military stated in a statement early Sunday that it continues to launch strikes on the Gaza Strip, targeting rocket launch sites, operational command centers, and several Palestinian militants.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip on Saturday, threatening to destroy Hamas and turn Gaza into rubble.

The Iraqi government warned against the escalation within Palestinian territories, stating that it would impact the region's stability, and called for an urgent meeting of the Arab League.

The military wing of Hamas announced the launch of the "Al-Aqsa Storm" operation against Israel on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced the launch of Operation "Iron Swords" against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
