The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has highlighted the widespread home demolition crimes committed by Israeli forces in the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams camps in the occupied northern West Bank. Accompanied by the crime of enforced displacement, these actions have displaced over 40,000 Palestinian citizens, particularly during the holy month, rising to the level of ethnic cleansing and displacement. These acts are part of the occupier's schemes to consolidate control and annex the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
In a statement released on Saturday by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the ministry emphasized its ongoing efforts to address the plight of the Palestinian people with all international bodies, including investigative committees, fact-finding missions, special rapporteurs, assistants to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and all international parties.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry is calling for genuine and serious international intervention to compel Israel to cease its aggression and adhere to the international will for peace. The ministry insists that a negotiated political solution is the key to resolving the conflict and that military solutions only exacerbate and deteriorate the situation.
