Pakistan's 7th Consignment of Humanitarian Assistance for Gaza under Current Batch Arrives at El-Arish Int'l Airport

Under the directions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA) in collaboration with Al-Khidmat Foundation dispatched the Seventh Consignment under the current batch of humanitarian and relief assistance for the brotherly people of Gaza Strip through Egypt today. 

A special chartered aircraft from Pakistan carrying 100 tonnes of humanitarian and relief supplies landed at El-Arish International Airport today.

The relief consignment includes much needed Tents, Medicines, Blankets and Jerry Cans.

The relief consignment was handed over to Egyptian Red Crescent Society for onward dispatch to the residents of Gaza. 

The Government and people of Pakistan reiterate profound gratitude to the Egyptian government under the leadership of President H.E. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Egyptian Red Crescent Society for facilitating the delivery of humanitarian assistance from the Government and people of Pakistan for the brotherly people of Palestine. 

Total 26 relief consignments, including today's flight, carrying 2527 tonnes, have been dispatched to Gaza. More humanitarian and relief consignments are on their way, and will be delivered to the residents of Gaza soon.
