Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari at Zabeel Palace.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Pakistan, exploring ways to enhance joint cooperation across various fields of mutual interest to serve the common goals of both nations and their peoples.
The meeting, which was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, addressed several regional and international issues.
Both sides emphasized the importance of supporting stability in the region and fostering international dialogue and cooperation to achieve security and sustainable development.
During the talks, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to further strengthening its strategic partnership with Pakistan, building on the long-standing and historical ties that unite the two countries.
