Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Abu Dhabi on Monday for a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Upon his arrival at the Presidential Flight terminal at Zayed International Airport, Pakistani President was received by the UAE Minister of Justice, Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, according to a report by Pakistan's "Geo News" earlier today.
Zardari is accompanied on this trip by his daughter, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, and the Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi.
The welcoming party also included Pakistan's Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi (referred to in local reports as Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan).
Pakistani President's visit will continue until January 29. During his stay, he is scheduled to meet with the UAE leadership to review all aspects of bilateral relations.
The discussions are expected to cover trade, economic partnerships, defense, security, and strengthening people-to-people ties between the two nations.
