Pakistani PM’s Message on Pakistan Day 2025

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended warm greetings to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day, calling it a moment of reflection, resolve, and national celebration. In a heartfelt message, the Prime Minister emphasized the historic significance of March 23rd and the ideals that shaped the creation of Pakistan.

“Heartfelt greetings to all Pakistanis on this momentous day of national celebration!” the Prime Minister began, highlighting the importance of this date in the collective memory of the nation. He described Pakistan Day as a defining moment in the history of South Asia’s Muslims, when, 85 years ago, the visionary leadership of the subcontinent set forth the demand for an independent homeland.

Recalling the historic Lahore Resolution of 1940, the Prime Minister noted that it laid the foundation for a sovereign nation where Muslims could live with dignity, freedom, and self-respect. That vision was realized seven years later on August 14, 1947, marking the birth of Pakistan. “Pakistan emerged as an independent nation, a testament to the unyielding spirit, perseverance, and sacrifices of our forefathers,” he said.

Reflecting on the nation’s journey, Prime Minister Sharif stated that Pakistan has come a long way—from an emerging nation to a nuclear power. He stressed that while much has been achieved, the mission envisioned by the founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is far from over. “It will take steadfast will, tireless effort, and a collective vision to transform Pakistan into the nation envisioned by our founding father.”

Turning to current affairs, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s economic achievements over the past year. “We have set Pakistan’s economy on a path to sustained growth, driven by bold reforms, prudent policies, and the resilience of our people,” he said. He pointed to the declining inflation, rising investor confidence, and improving economic indicators as signs of recovery, noting that international financial institutions and rating agencies have recognized this positive momentum.

Acknowledging the role of the country’s security forces, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and security personnel. “We salute our martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty,” he said, adding that their courage and sacrifice remain the bedrock of Pakistan’s sovereignty and stability.

The Prime Minister also noted the spiritual significance of this year’s Pakistan Day, which falls during the holy month of Ramadan. He described Ramadan as a time of reflection and self-discipline that reinforces the nation’s collective will and echoes the principles of sacrifice and perseverance that are deeply rooted in the country’s foundation.

Concluding his message, Prime Minister Sharif expressed confidence in Pakistan’s future. “Our nation has been blessed with immense potential, and with the right policies, dedicated efforts, and national unity, we can achieve economic prosperity, uphold social justice, and secure our rightful place among the nations of the world.”

“No challenge is insurmountable, no adversity too great, if we stand united in our purpose and committed to our ideals,” he said. “With determination, hard work, and a shared vision, we will continue to build a stronger, more prosperous, and progressive Pakistan.”
