Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decision appointing Omar Mohamed Sadek Radwan as Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange for a one-year term, marking a new phase in his professional career within the financial markets sector.
The appointment comes as part of broader efforts to strengthen leadership in Egypt’s capital markets with professionals who combine investment expertise and a strong digital transformation vision.
Radwan most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Wealth Management at Beltone Holding since June 2025, after previously leading the company’s Growth Sector from April 2024 to June 2025.
During his tenure, he played a key role in advancing expansion strategies, focusing on digital transformation, client base growth, and improving the efficiency of investment services.
He also brings significant experience in risk management, having served as Group Head of Risk at CI Capital Holding between October 2022 and March 2024, where he contributed to enhancing institutional risk frameworks and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Radwan held senior positions within investment arms affiliated with Banque Misr from 2018 to 2024.
In that role, he supported the development of asset management and investment services through digital initiatives and expanded distribution channels for investment funds.
His professional background also includes roles at HC Securities and Investment, Arab Finance Brokerage, Arab Bank, and EFG Holding, providing him with broad experience across regional financial markets.
On the academic side, Radwan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certifications. He also earned a postgraduate diploma in digital transformation from ESLSCA Business School, completed a fintech program at Saïd Business School, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in computer science from the American University in Cairo.
In addition to his executive roles, Radwan has contributed to professional training as an instructor at the Egyptian Society of Investment Management since 2010, delivering specialized programs in portfolio management, derivatives, and risk management.
His appointment comes at a time when Egypt is focusing on enhancing leadership capabilities that integrate financial expertise with digital innovation, aiming to boost the development and attractiveness of its capital markets for both local and international investors.
