Omani FM: Our good relations with Egypt proceed with conscious political will

 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, said in a recorded speech that was presented during the celebration of the Sultanate’s National Day and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Egypt and the Sultanate, :" Our good relations with Egypt proceed with a political will that is conscious and aware of the common denominators of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

Egypt and Oman have strong relations and ties 3,500 years ago in commercial, political and strategic fields, in addition to the social and cultural ties, the relations were respected and appreciated by the two countries.

He emphasized that this approach was set by Sultan Qaboos when he said about Egypt, "It has been proven throughout the stages of contemporary history that Egypt was the main element in building the Arab entity, and it has never hesitated to defend the causes of Arabs and Islam. "

He stressed that these relations will continue with the same strength that derives from the civilization of the two countries.
