The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the announcement of reaching an agreement to exchange detainees and hostages and restore sustainable calm.
The deal would pave the way for a permanent ceasefire between the parties of the conflict.
In a statement issued today by the Foreign Ministry, Oman valued the leading role of the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States of America.
It also voiced the support provided by Arab and foreign countries in reaching this agreement, which will contribute to alleviating humanitarian suffering in the Palestinian Gaza Strip.
