Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has launched a wide-ranging package of promotional initiatives to strengthen the country’s position as a premier winter tourism destination for the 2025–2026 season. The campaign highlights Oman’s mild climate, rich cultural heritage, diverse adventure experiences, and modern tourism infrastructure.
The ministry is rolling out extensive digital campaigns targeting key markets in the Gulf, Asia, and Europe, emphasizing activities such as desert and mountain camping, cave exploration, beach tourism, and cultural festivals across Oman’s governorates. The country has also expanded its presence at major international tourism exhibitions and organized familiarization trips for media, influencers, and travel agencies.
Under the slogan “Experience Our Winter,” the domestic and Gulf-focused campaign promotes adventure activities, traditional markets, marine experiences, and stargazing. A parallel international campaign, “Oman: Gift of Life,” targets European and Asian travelers with tailored messages.
Officials say the initiatives support Oman’s Tourism Strategy 2040 and aim to drive sustainable growth, increase visitor numbers, and raise hotel occupancy during the peak winter season.
