Oman has condemned the Israeli attack on the Masyaf area and its surroundings in Hama, Syria, which claimed the lives of dozens of Syrians, urging an end to Israeli war crimes.

Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized "the necessity for the international community to put a decisive end to these aggressive practices by Israel, the war crimes it commits, and the political assassinations it carries out. This calls for a strong international stance to deter and hold Israel accountable, in accordance with international law, to ensure justice and preserve the security and stability of the region."

The Omani Foreign Ministry expressed its solidarity and condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a swift recovery for the injured.

On Sunday evening, Israeli forces launched an airstrike from the northwest of Lebanon, targeting several areas in Syria.

Syrian Health Minister Hassan al-Ghobash reported that the Israeli attack on the Masyaf area resulted in 18 deaths and 37 injuries.

The attack also caused fires and material damage in some residential areas.
