In one the shocking scenes in 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Moroccan boxer Younes Baala tried to bite his New Zealand' opponent David Nika in the men’s heavyweight round of 16 in Tokyo on Tuesday.

Shots, which have taken during the match, showed the Moroccan boxer trying to bite the New Zealand's opponent, but Nika defeated him to qualify for the last 8.

Nika is one win away from New Zealand’s first Olympic boxing medal since David Toa took bronze in 1992 after defeating Baala by unanimous decision, but the fight was overshadowed by Moroccan behavior in the last round.

On one occasion, the Moroccan seemed to lean toward biting Nika’s ear. But he pulled away while Nika was shaking his head.

“He didn’t get a full dose. Luckily, he had his mouthguard on, and I was sweating a bit, but come on man, these are the Olympics, come together… together,” Nika said
