Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), participated in the meeting of the Selection Committee for the 2025 King Faisal Prize for Service to Islam.
The meeting, chaired by HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – Founder and Member of the Board of Trustees of the King Faisal Foundation and Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies – took place in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to select the winners of the 47th edition of the Prize.
It is worth noting that the King Faisal Prize for Service to Islam aims to honor the outstanding efforts of individuals or institutions that provide services for the benefit of Islam and Muslims.
Anyone who provides services to Islam and Muslims through his knowledge and advocacy, or makes an outstanding effort that results in a notable benefit to Islam and Muslims, and thus achieves one or more of the objectives of the Prize, at the discretion of the esteemed committee, is eligible.
