The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) announced the death of Mr. Elhadi Fantar . Fantar, a distinguished translator and interpreter, passed away in the Republic of Tunisia following a career that spanned nearly four decades.
A cornerstone of the OIC’s linguistic services since 1987, Fantar was recognized by the organization as a "model of good character and professional excellence." His contributions were vital to the OIC’s various institutions and diplomatic functions for 39 years.
In an official statement, the General Secretariat expressed "deep sorrow and sadness" over the loss of their veteran colleague. The organization extended its sincere condolences to Fantar’s family, praying for mercy and reward for his long-standing dedication to the mission of the Islamic world.
