OIC: Israeli Occupation Intensifies Its Crimes in "Kamal Adwan"

Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip witnessed successive Israeli crimes that ended with the occupation forces ordering its evacuation after cutting off electricity, placing explosive robots near it, and blowing up residential buildings in its vicinity. 

At the same time, the hospital was shelled at the beginning of the period between December 17-18, 2024, which also witnessed the targeting of Al-Awda Hospital.

The number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip over the mentioned period reached 289, while the number of the wounded reached 777, and the number of massacres reached 25. The media observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Israeli crimes against the Palestinians documented the fall of 45912 Palestinian martyrs from October 7, 2023, until December 18, 2024, while the number of the wounded reached 113494.

The occupation forces continued to bomb most areas of the Gaza Strip, and according to the monitoring over the past seven days, they included residential apartments in central Gaza and Rafah, in addition to places in the Nuseirat camp, Jabalia, and Deir al-Balah. They also besieged a camp for displaced persons in Nuseirat, issued orders to evacuate four areas in al-Bureij, and ordered the residents of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood to move to areas near Gaza City.

In documenting the Israel’s confessions, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed testimonies of occupation soldiers who committed war crimes in Gaza, by killing civilians. Hebrew media also acknowledged that the occupation forces destroyed more than 70% of the buildings in Jabalia camp.

On the humanitarian level, UNICEF confirmed that most areas in the northern Gaza Strip are suffering from food scarcity due to the complete Israeli lockdown for 78 days. It equally confirmed that 14,500 children were killed by the occupation forces over the past 14 months. Last week, a female child died in Al-Mawasi due to the severe cold, and UNICEF warned of the effects of the catastrophic conditions of cold, hunger, and disease on the children of Gaza.

In terms of Israeli crimes in the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds, the organization's observatory recorded 12 Palestinian martyrs during the period 17-18 December 2024, while the occupation forces arrested 124 others during the same time span. Furthermore, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque was subjected to daily raids, while the occupation forces demolished 5 houses and part of a house in the occupied city of Al-Quds, demolished 4 houses in Bethlehem, Tubas and Al-Khalil, occupied a house in Jenin, bombed Tulkarm camp with aircraft, and demolished two vegetable stores in Al-Khalil, 3 barns in Salfit, agricultural greenhouses and a water collection pool in the villages of Tulkarm, while settlers burned an agricultural cabin in Salfit.
