Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), expressed his sincere congratulations and blessings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of Founding Day, celebrated annually on February 22.
The Secretary-General lauded the significance of this day for the citizens of Saudi Arabia, the headquarters country, invoking prayers for the continued security and prosperity of the Kingdom and all OIC Member States. He highlighted Founding Day as a pivotal event, representing the deep historical, civilizational, and cultural heritage of the Kingdom.
Moreover, he underscored the Kingdom's ongoing development trajectory under Vision 2030, which encompasses diverse sectors aimed at enhancing the Kingdom's status and its leadership regionally and internationally.
The Secretary-General noted the ambitious projects and strategic initiatives spearheaded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, which seek to elevate the Kingdom’s role within the OIC framework and address pressing issues concerning the Islamic world and joint Islamic action.
