The director of the “Future of Egypt” project for agricultural production, Lt. Col. Pilot Bahaa El-Ghannam, confirmed on Saturday that Egyptian wheat is one of the world's best types, due to its hardness.
In press remarks, he added that it contains a high percentage of protein and a low percentage of moisture, a matter which makes it 'distgushed'.
Moreover, he said that the moisture content of impoted wheat ranges from 12% to 13%, while the moisture content of Egyptian wheat ranges between 9% to 11% only, noting that low humidity is an indicator of the quality of wheat.
On Saturday, Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inagurated “Egypt’s Future” project for agricultural production.
